The Industrial and Agricultural Microbiology Laboratory conducts research on the use of microorganisms in processes that support sustainable development in agriculture and industry. Our goal is to understand the role of the microbiome in the environment, food production and biotechnology, as well as to develop innovative solutions that combine science with economic practice.

The laboratory cooperates with scientific units, biotechnology companies and the agricultural sector, carrying out research and implementation projects. Our priority is to translate research results into real benefits for the environment, the economy and society.
