Visit of Prof. Michela Schiavon

Prof. Michela Schiavon from the University of Turin (Department of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences, DISAFA) visited our group as part of the ongoing collaboration within the SONATA 18 NCN project.

During her visit, Prof. Schiavon delivered a lecture titled “Strigolactones: Gatekeepers of Phosphorus Acquisition in the Model Crop Tomato”, presenting her latest findings on the role of strigolactones in phosphorus uptake, plant development, and interactions with mycorrhizal fungi.
