BSc Anna Bernatowicz

BSc Anna Bernatowicz is a master’s student working under the supervision of dr Klaudia Dębiec-Andrzejewska. She is actively involved in research on biologically driven strategies to enhance plant nutrition and resilience. Her work focuses on the use of bacterial siderophores to improve plant biofortification by increasing the bioavailability and uptake of essential nutrients. She also investigates the role of bacterial osmoprotectants in restoring the quality of saline soils and mitigating the negative effects of salinity stress on plants. By combining microbiological, physiological and soil science approaches, she aims to develop environmentally friendly solutions that support crop growth under challenging environmental conditions.
