Prof. Łukasz Drewniak receives funding in the ULAM NAWA programme

Prof. Łukasz Drewniak has been awarded funding in the 2025 edition of the ULAM NAWA Programme for a joint research project entitled “Development of biochar–nano hybrid adsorbents for the removal of pesticides and heavy metals from Indian and Polish wastewaters.” The awarded project will support a 20-month research visit by Dr. Surbhi Sinha (https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=266L-TEAAAAJ&hl=en&oi=aor) in our laboratory, contributing to the development of advanced materials for environmental applications and strengthening scientific collaboration between Poland and India.
