DynaMF Seminar Launch: Herbicide Biodegradation at the Interface of Chemistry and Microbiology

On January 8, 2026, the DynaMF initiative held a hybrid scientific seminar entitled “How to Think About Herbicide Biodegradation: When Chemistry Flirts with Microbiology”, delivered by Dr Eng. Marta Woźniak-Karczewska (Poznań University of Technology). The seminar highlighted the role of native, multifunctional microorganisms in the biodegradation of agrochemical residues and in promoting plant growth and protection, and served as an inspiring starting point for the DynaMF seminar series.

We sincerely thank Dr Eng. Marta Woźniak-Karczewska for her insightful and engaging lecture, as well as all participants who joined us on-site and online. The presence of master’s and PhD students, technicians, and academic staff from various institutions and countries created a diverse and dynamic discussion, greatly enriching the scientific exchange.
