MSc Julia Rydz

PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Łukasz Drewniak and Dr. Namrata Joshi.
Julia’s research focuses on microbiological bioremediation of toxic herbicide residues combined with plant growth promotion. Her main goal is to develop a multifunctional microbial formulation based on autochthonous bacteria and to explore the novel concept of dynamic microbial fertilizers. She investigates how to tailor microbial fertilizers to specific local environments while maintaining their applicability on a global scale. In the next stages of her work, Julia will evaluate these multifunctional formulations beyond laboratory conditions, conducting field trials and optimizing bacterial production processes.
